10, May, 2015 RSUH students and teachers visited the World premier “BAHUKONE” within the framework of the Festival of Indian Culture “NAMASTE RUSSIA” in Russia.

RSUH students and teachers visited the World premier “BAHUKONE” within the framework of the Festival of Indian Culture “NAMASTE RUSSIA” in Russia.
This Festival was inaugurated by President of India, H.E Mr. Pranab Mukherjee in the presence of the Mr.Vladimir Medinsky, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation.
On the initiative of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) there was presented a program named “Bahukone – Multifarious” and it has been specially prepared to be performed at he Festival of Indian Culture “NAMASTE RUSSIA” in Russia.
The organizers of this Festival are the Russian State Concert Company “Sodruzestvo” - http://sodr.artinfo.ru/ and Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Center (JNCC) at the Embassy of India in Moscow.
This Festival will also take place in St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Kislovodsk, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa.
The 1st year Hindi students group of RSUH enjoyed the performance of dance group “Kadamb”. This dance group was founded by “Padma Bhushan” award nominee Kumudini Lakhia, in 1967 for promoting the classical Kathak dance. The original music score for Kadamb dance group is written by the outstanding composer Atul Desai.
1st years Hindi group students Alisa Antonova, Alexander Belokov, Mariya Sheglova, Olesya Koryuka, Anton Makarov were enthusiastic about the concert.
