RSUH have sign MOU with AMITI univiersity

RSUH teachers Prof. Alexander Stolyarov, Director of International Centre for South Asian studies and Dr. Indira Gazieva, Hindi teacher took part in Seminar on ‘Reviewing 70 Years of India-Russia Diplomatic Relations and Future Prospects’.

The event was held in association with RSUH (Moscow), RCSC (New Delhi) & Embassy of Russian Federation (India) and University of Delhi and was organized to celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. It was on 13 April 1947, four months before India's independence, when the diplomatic relations were established between the two countries.
Hon’ble VC Prof. Dr. P. B. Sharma and Hon’ble Pro-VC Prof. Dr. Padmakali Banerjee welcomed the guest with shawls and mementos.
Prof. Ashok Tiku, HoD, ASL welcomed the guests with bouquets and opened the session with his welcome speech.

The chief Guest of the event was Prof. Alexander Stolyarov, Director, International Centre of South Asian Studies, RSUH, (Moscow), who talked about the history of 70 years of India-Russia Diplomatic relations.

Various eminent speakers like Mr. Alexander Schegolev, Deputy Trade Commissioner of Russia in India shared his views on India-Russia economic ties, Dr. Neelakshi Suryanarayan, HOD of department of Slavonic Finno-Ugrian Studies discussed the future prospects of India-Russia relations in the field of education,

Dr. Shiv Shakti Bakhshi, Executive Editor Kamal Sandesh discussed about Russia’s role in Make in India programme started by government of India. Dr. Indira Gazieva, Hindi teacher, In chair of Oriental Studies, Institute of Linguistics, RSUH, Moscow also graced the occasion.

The highlight of the event was the signing of MOU between Amity University Gurgaon and Russian State University for Humanities, Moscow.

Both the universities have agreed to cooperate and develop in the field of :
• Academic mobility (of faculty members and students)
• joint research activities
• joint organization and participation in seminars, courses, workshops and other academic activities on matters of mutual benefits.
• organization of summer and winter schools
• exchange of publications and other teaching materials

The event was attended by Dr. Gunjan M Sanjeev, Director, International affairs, Faculties and students of Amity school of Languages.

Students of ASL also presented a very colorful Russian cultural programme and a poster exhibition on Russian cultural and civilization.

The Seminar, cultural programme and poster exhibitions were organized by Russian Faculties Subhash Kumar, Padmesh Padmakar and Sudarshan Raja with Russian language students to celebrate 70 years of India-Russia relations.
