Russian State University for Humanities (RSUH) with the active support of the Jawaharlal Nehru Indian Cultural Centre (JNCC), Embassy of India, Moscow, is organizing the students' art exhibition “Wonders of a Far Country”, during December 1-12, 2017, at the D.P. Dhar Hall, Embassy of India, Moscow.
The idea to invite RSUH students to present the Art exhibition at the D.P. Dhar Hall belongs to HE Mr. Pankaj Saran, Ambassador of India to Russia. The event is also dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of Establishment of Diplomatic Relations (April 13, 1947 – April 13, 2017).
Russian students of the "Art-Design" Study Center and College of Humanities are studying “Graphic Design”, “Web Design” subjects at the university. Their compositions and graphic works made in various materials and techniques will be presented at the exhibition. Their paintings are very different, but there is a certain similarity between them, i.e. all these works are devoted to India.
Despite the fact that RSUH students of the "Art-Design" Study Center and College of Humanities have never visited incredible India, they managed to convey the soul of this amazing country, her poetic image, people’s colorful clothes, fragrances of flowers, spices and seasonings, flora and fauna, intricate and bizarre ornaments.
