The book "From the Volga origins to the holy Ganges" is published on the year of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Russia.
During these 70 years the cultural ties between our countries have constantly expanded.
The new Centers for Indian studies, Indian culture and languages appeared on the map of Russia.
This book is evidence of the growing popularity of Hindi in Russian Federation.
It includes Hindi students and teachers’ essays about similarity and differences in Indian and Russian culture.
The Russian State University for the Humanities, the Moscow State University, The Saint-Petersburg State University, and The Kazan State University contribute the efforts for study and disseminate knowledge about India and its culture on the territory of Russian Federation.
‘वोल्गा के तल से गंगा के जल तक’ रूसी हिन्दी अन्वेषियों के लेखों का संग्रह महत्वपूर्ण वर्ष में प्रकाशित हो रहा है क्योंकि सन् 2017 में भारत और रूस राजनयिक संबंधों की स्थापना की 70वीं वर्षगांठ मनाई गई है। इन वर्षों के दौरान हमारे दोनों देशों के बीच सांस्कृतिक संबंधों का लगातार विस्तार होता रहा। यदि रूस के नक्शे पर देखें तो आनंद आती है कि भारतीय संस्कृति के विस्तार और भाषाओं के अध्ययन हेतु रूस देश में नए केंद्र खोले गए हैं, जिनमें रूसी लोग बड़ी उत्सुकता एवं दिलचस्पी से भारतीय नृत्य, योगासान करते, संगीत सुनते, तबला, सितार और हार्मोनियम पर बजाते, हिंदुस्तानी गीत गाते और संस्कृत तथा हिंदी, बँगला, तामिल भाषाएँ सीखते हैं। रूसी लोगों में भारतीय टीवी सीरियल अत्यंत लोकप्रिय हैं।
यह पुस्तक रूस में हिंदी की बढ़ती लोकप्रियता का प्रमाण है। रूसी छात्रगण और शिक्षक लोग जिन्होंने इस पुस्तक में अपने लेख प्रस्तुत किये हैं वे सब हिंदी प्रेमी हैं। हर साल वे भारत घूमने गए और हिंदुस्तानी संस्कृति और लोगों के जीवन के तरीकों से परिचय करते हुए अपने अनुभाव तथा विचारों को लेखों द्वारा उन्होंने अभिव्यक्ति किया हैं। मुझे बहुत गर्व है कि रशिया में भारतीय संस्कृति का प्रसार करने हेतु रूसी राजकीय मानविकी विश्वविद्यालय के विशेषज्ञ, शिक्षक और छात्रगण बड़ा योगदान देते हैं।
