International Poetry Online Festival "Marina Tsvetaeva’ s translations poetry", dedicated to the 130th birth anniversary of Marina Tsvetaeva was held in the RSUH November 11, 2022

RSUH Hindi group students and teacher have organized jointly with the Russian and Indian Universities and Russian House in Mumbai (Maharashtra, India) an International Poetry Online Festival "Marina Tsvetaeva’ s translations poetry", dedicated to the 130th birth anniversary of Marina Tsvetaeva, the Silver Age Russian poet, prose writer and translator.

The event took place on Zoom session. Students of Russian and Indian universities will recite Marina Tsvetaeva poems translated in different languages.

 

Welcome address were delivered by:

Dr. Elena Remizova, Ph.D. in Economics, Director of the Russian House in Mumbai (India);

Prof. Varyam Singh, translator of Marina Tsvetaeva's poetry into Hindi, former professor of the Centre of Russian Studies. Jawaharlal Nehru University (India).

Prof. Sanjay Deshpande, Centre For Central Eurasian Studies,
University of Mumbai (India).

Dr. Sonu Saini, lecturer, translator, JNU (New Delhi).
